Upstream on Brush Springs Creek are Fred and Vicky Sheets. They own a herd of bison. They are a proud part of the “Crooked Bridge Neighborhood” and where we all genuinely enjoy seeing the Sheets herd next door.
On Thursday, February 18th, the state of Oklahoma had record low temperatures and snow, making it challenging for ranchers and their stock. On this day, we received a call from Freddie that he lost five bison thru the pond. We were all saddened. However, it is with a happy heart we can share the news that their first bison calf this year was born yesterday! Click to hear more about the Sheets Bison Story.
