Cory loaded us up to help scavenge for Morel Mushrooms, he says to look under Elm Trees, as they have a certain bacteria that help the mushrooms to grow, it’s kinda like Easter-Egg hunting (but for brainy-like eggs!)
We found ten mushrooms to cook and then fished out two fish from the pond. Using farm-fresh eggs for batter from the neighbors, we enjoyed a healthy meal of mushrooms and fish for our family. My favorite part was seeing my boys smiling and laughing.
